OK, so it got past your antivirus. Weird as it may be while scouring the web I ran across several articles that were posted by individuals that interviewed viruse programers. It was disturbing to hear that they feel that they are doing a community service! Yes you heard me right, a community service. They feel that they're helping protect the public by exploiting holes in computer software. In doing so it causes software companies to rewrite the programs to be more secure, and it keeps the Antivirus industry on it's toes. When you are on the receiving end of these viruses your opinion changes pretty fast, so that is why we are here to help.

Restore points allow you to roll your computer back in time to certain preset dates typically preceding any windows updates or software installs. Use caution when doing this though, any changes you may have made to your PC whether it is visual, software, or documents they will all be lost during the restore if it falls within the time frame you choose to restore back to. Here is a list of the three most current Windows operating systems that offer the restore point. Simply click on the icon that matches you system and follow the directions.

If the restore point method did not work for you, don’t get frustrated. A few things may have taken place, such as the virus affected your systems ability to use the restore point or it could be that your restore point system has not been turned on. Neither of these matter though. Let’s approach this using another method. We are going to use software to combat the virus.
